Carolyn Chwalek, MT-BC, LCAT completed the Master of Music Therapy degree program at ASU with a Certificate in Expressive Arts in 2013. Her thesis was on the use of dialectical behavior therapy in music therapy. Carolyn received her undergraduate degree in music therapy from Baldwin-Wallace College in Berea, OH in 2010. She completed her internship with the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, working with both psychiatric and pediatric populations, and then worked in the Cleveland area as a music therapist working with a variety of populations. While at ASU, Carolyn was a graduate assistant for the Scholars with Diverse Abilities Program. She is currently music therapist at the Kings County Hospital Center in Brooklyn, New York City.
