Sarah Cave graduated with her Master of Music degree in Vocal Performance. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from Longwood University in Farmville, Virginia with a Bachelor of Music degree in Music Education, and she is very excited to be working with such talented musicians and notable professors at Appalachian State University. Sarah performs her graduate assistantship duties as the mezzo-soprano in ASU’s graduate quartet, Quintessential!, and is studying under the instruction of Dr. Joseph Amaya. This fall, Sarah is preparing for her first major role as Prince Orlofsky in Johann Strauss’s Die Fledermaus with Appalachian State University Opera Theater. As for her future plans, Sarah hopes to have a career in performance as well as eventually work towards her Doctorate and to teach at the college level.
